About The Artist

Jamie Hageman is a British self-taught mountain landscape painter, based in the West Highlands of Scotland.  Mountaineering and painting have been central to his life from an early age.

 

Jamie's artwork has been featured in national publications including Trail Magazine, BMC Summit Magazine, The Scotsman, The Sunday Post, Scottish Homes and Interiors, Art of England and Art News Scotland Magazine.

​

His paintings are held in collections throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.  He has self-published a number of limited edition prints and was a Finalist on the innaugural Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year, broadcast on TV in 2015.  Jamie currently lives and works in Fort William, Scotland.

Jamie has also exhibited regularly with Caledoniart Ltd in London, and has taken part in group shows at The Contemporary Fine Art Gallery Eton, Queens Gallery Dundee, The Biscuit Factory Newcastle and Resipole Studios Ardgour.
